I believe a sustainable future is the only way forward, and having a groundbreaking and outstanding chemical industry is key. For that, I help companies receive the funding needed to make their sustainable and innovative projects become true.
I’ve been passionate about chemistry since high-school. I graduated in Chemistry at the University of Girona (Spain), and after a master degree, I started my PhD at the same university. My thesis focused on designing new metal complexes able to catalyze chemical reactions for the synthesis of value-added compounds. Understanding why these complexes behave the way they do and tune them to modify their reactivity was the main objective of my thesis. After completing my PhD, I moved to the Netherlands to do a post-doc at Radboud University to continue the research of my PhD and expand my knowledge by using new techniques and equipment.
The PhD and post-doc did not provided me only with chemical knowledge, but also with amazing life experience. I could travel and be surrounded by people from different cultures, something that I am very passioned about. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and making handcrafts.
