To combat climate change, the transport sector must adopt cleaner and greener technologies. New emission-reducing technologies and climate innovations, such as hydrogen-powered trucks or electric ships, are needed to accelerate this transition. If you and your partners are developing such an innovation with little or no CO2 emissions, your project might be eligible for a grant from DKTI-Transport (demonstration of climate technologies and innovations in transport). DKTI-Transport’s grant scheme focuses on the following themes:

  1. Electric boats and road vehicles
  2. Efficient road traffic
  3. Efficient ships
  4. Hydrogen-powered road vehicles
  5. Mobile machines
  6. Heavy road traffic and aviation
  7. Biofuels in aviation

 

Objectives

DKTI-Transport (in Dutch: Demonstratie klimaattechnologieën en -innovaties in transport) aims to accelerate the development of strong, green innovations in the transport sector. Its focus is on creating, testing, and demonstrating new emission-reducing technologies and other climate innovations.

 

Details

DKTI-Transport is open to Dutch enterprises, knowledge institutions, and non-governmental organisations involved in the transport sector. Depending on the project type, organisations can apply individually or in partnership. The grant amount that can be applied for depends on the project type and the transport mode category, with the maximum amount being 3 million euros per project.
